Project Description
BizTalk HAT tool, but for Dublin.

The Dublin Error Reporting (DublinER) is a basic tool to provide developers with information regarding the execution of services and workflows hosted in the codename “Dublin” application server. The tool is very similar to the Health and Activity Tracking (HAT) tool in BizTalk Server.

DublinER runs SQL queries against the tracking information stored in the Dublin Application Server database, and displays the results in a ListView control. The application is a Windows Presentation Foundation application built using Visual Studio 2010. As Dublin is currently only available on the PDC08-CSD virtual PC image, it is intended that the tool will be used on that image when developing services that are hosted in Dublin.

It is likely that changes will be made to the structure and data present in the Dublin database as Dublin nears release, so the application has been designed to store all its queries in external SQL files, which can easily be modified to factor in any such changes.
The queries supplied with the tool are quite basic and some are “experimental”. It is expected that the queries will be improved and expanded in future versions.
